At bethechange we were very lucky to meet Americans who wanted to love all of the world as well as America. Perhaps this thread could be one of observations wherever we see Americans doing wonderful stuff for people outside America.
If you've read this post, please dont leave until you have cited an American you feel we should all honor in helping to lead some human gravity for all 6 billion who share this sphere we call earth.

Monty Roberts, horse gentler.
Not only has he taken his at times abusive childhood and found a way - knowing and following the truth of his heart- to find the way the needs to trust us his natural predator, he applies same principals to the many wayward foster children over the years. He has been very successful in this regard.
His moto ' Violence is always for the benefit of the violator never the victim'.
He now has corporate days at his ranch in CA, proving to many CEOs around the world, in a universal language (non verbal) how exactly trust based relationships work. His often works with Bob Foxworthy, to add the human/corporate perspective if and when needed. Some of the top companies in the world have been positivly effected by Montys work (VW a good example).
I would recommend his second book 'Join up - horse sense for people'. He is often in the UK touring and doing demonstrations.

Okay, so this is more than one
Richard Bandler, John Grinder, Judith DeLozier, Robert Dilts, the late Todd Epstein, Stephen Gilligan and John Grinder: from whom I learned how to think in order to be, to appreciate, and to enjoy the thought that we are all different and we are all barking mad. Not only that their work must have made the lives of countless people much simpler and much more fun.

I have to mention 2 out of many - Harrison Owen the inventor of Open Space and M. Scott Peck the man who described the process of Community Building

I appreciated those speakers who apologised for being American. But, for me it was not neccesary. That they were born in America to me does not associate them with the terrible decisions that those currently in power in the USA are now making.
So thank you, but you were at Be The Change and that was more than enough. And, even for those Americans that do agree with the current USA regime, we love you all.
