It rather caught me by surprise when Cookie announced that he was a global. I never heard anybody say that out loud before. i have read similar things a few times but to announce it out loud at Be The Change was to me very important.
I came to the realisation that I am a global several years ago now but I only remember telling a couple of people about it directly. They didn't really seem to understand the significance or to care.
So, I want to put it on record, I am a global. I belong to no one country and I would be happy to hold a global passport rather than a UK one if such a thing existed. And, if anyone is looking for a project, i think a campaign for a global passport would be a great idea even if it might only be recognised by very few countries initially and take many many years to come to fruition.
Would any one else be happy to say that they are globals?

I'm a human, and have been saying it for as long as I can remember. (and as a human can take shame for human behaviour whether it be Iraq or my own)
And yes a UN passport is what I would like. Or perhaps we can start a virtual country...
