Be the Change closed with a short film and music called HeartLand. As part of this production, children had been asked to write letters for the participants of Be the Change.
The children are from the Junior classes at Hollymount School in Bury, Lancashire, England and they were asked three questions.
What do you love about the world?
What one wish do you have to make the world a better place?
What message do you have for the person who will get your wish?
They had also put their wishes into small stones that were handed out to each person along with the letters.
The initial feedback of the messages from the children has been very powerful. The children are already seeing that their simple actions and efforts are having an effect on people all around the world. They are Being the Change!!
If you got a letter and would like to close the energy loop by writing back to the children, please send the letters to me.
My request is that you write a letter to the children (all the children rather than the ones named on your sheets). Please say what you like, but for an idea you might what to share your feelings you had about the wishes, and messages and what impact it had on you.
Please send the letters to me and I will pass them onto the children through the headmaster.
