My new club at Ecadmy:
I welcome you to join the club
and share your wisdom to overcome the problem that we discuss here
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------
poverty and ignorance are systematically
forced upon the majority of humankind through perpetual ignorance
and enforced through compartmentalization of educational facilities
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------
For example, in Pakistan there are 4 types of schools up to 10th grade where per child/per month total expenses are around:
a) Private Schools - $ 300
b) Government Model Schools - $ 10
c) Government Schools (General) - $ 1
d) Madrassahs (run by Muslim Charities - free
Now, look at the Pakistan's GDP and other indicators, and just the per capita income, to know as to how many can get educated at a) and b) institutions?
What the students at these institutions are being taught and what they do thereafter?
a) Latest scientifically prepared syllabus taught by the best available teachers; some join best collages in Europe/USA others study either in Cadet collages or in the best collages and universities in the country;
b) Study either in Cadet Collages or in the best collages and universities in the country;
c) Mostly drop out before reaching 10th grade, those who pass the 10th grade cannot compete with the graduates from a) and b) for admission in colleges get clerical or other low paid job by begging indulgence of those in power;
d) Do whatever Mullah and Military-political leadership want them to do;
Resultantly the top ranking jobs in government and industry automatically go to those studied at a) and b)
Can anyone imagine why the poverty and ignorance should not perpetuate in Pakistan. How the 'trickle down aid' and charity work of NGOs can alter the situation?Certainly not!
Billions of dollars have been spent so far on government misadventures on welfare programmes and charity work including of those who really do honest work with missionary zeal but what are the results?
Every year Pakistan's indicator on world poverty graphs goes higher and almost 40% of the country's 150 million population lives in abject poverty. Can we imagine what this ever-growing population poor can do to feed themselves and their families except narcotics trade or falling prey to OBL's ilk?
And situation is worse in the countries much poorer than Pakistan. What the world thinkers and planners are aiming at?
This factor of hunger and ignorance is strongly pushing the world to eco-collapse.
Oh tiny minority of billionaires and milliners do keep amassing more dollars, after all what you would with so much wealth - 86% of the world's total goods in the control of 20 population!
