�Energising Parents to Innovate Change: Improving
the lives of Children�. Kim Thomas
Underprivileged families, the victims of outdated
systems and philosophies, willingly chose to
become empowered catalysts for positive change in
their own lives through healing the root causes of
their core issues.
This report demonstrates the success of a �new
empowerment model� recently completed for Sure
Start, South East Ipswich, Suffolk. The results of this
small pilot study are significant enough to warrant
further research taking place with a larger group
participation at the earliest opportunity. It covers the
importance of healing the core issues and
establishing fundamental core values. It highlights
some key issues that need to be addressed by
health and education. This research is the first of its
kind treating people holistically, combining
self-development techniques, complementary
therapies, vibrational medicine and healing courses.
100% of the participants confirmed that the
�empowerment model� helped them to change their
lives for the better. Average improvements include:
taking their power back 88%, self esteem raised by
81%, taking responsibility for thoughts, words and
deeds 79% and a 75% increase in confidence.
These are just a few of the highlights of this
innovative report.
22% of the parents took employment as Carers, a
testament to their compassion. The other members
are either working towards taking part in vocational
training or involved in voluntary work. The results
were achieved through �Healing Consciousness
Multi-Dimensionally�. The programme cost
approximately �500 per person but the realms of
happiness achieved are priceless!
The most significant aspect is that when the parents
were asked to state what the most important result
had been for them personally, they all declared the
improvement in their relationships with their
children. This is the most valuable outcome and is
already impacting on the children and their future.
This initial six month pilot scheme was only offered
to a small sample of parents. Some were already
actively involved with Sure Start and nine parents
completed the pilot study that ran for just 37 hours!
Funding is required to develop a further pilot study
with a larger group participation.

Kim Thomas said when parents suffer, children
suffer. The emotional development and intellectual
ability of the child is adversely effected by the degree
of the parents� suffering. This usually results from
the parents' own childhood experiences. To break
negative transgenerational life cycles, the parents
are the key.
Change can only be accomplished by the parents
themselves. Firstly, there must be a willingness to
look within at what created the person they have
become. Secondly, continuous effort in
self-development and self-healing is imperative to
achieving ultimate success in tackling the
environment that created child poverty, health
problems and continued suffering.
Empowering parents to change the way they think
and feel, assisting them to change their beliefs,
attitudes and perceptions, enables them to realize
their intellectual, artistic, ethical and spiritual
potential. Self-development and spiritual unfoldment
provides an added bonus. By addressing outmoded
beliefs and judgements, discrimination is
eliminated. Self-development provides increased
freedom, knowledge and power which increases
responsibility, promotes the common good and
builds democratic societies that are just,
participatory, sustainable and peaceful. A caring,
loving, accepting and compassionate society. The
way of the heart.

nature-nurture must be reconsidered in the light of

There is now scientific proof that when a person
changes their thoughts, attitudes and beliefs it can
have a very positive effect on their physical,
emotional well-being and their prosperity.
The �New Empowerment Model� Report
The work outlined in this report demonstrates the
speed in which every individual has the ability to
break negative transgenerational life cycles and the
power to heal themselves � mind, body and soul.
Changing their perceptions changed their reality and
the environment in which they and their children live.
Through healing consciousness
multi-dimensionally, individuals have the means to
heal the core issues and root causes of
unhappiness, depression, ill-health, abuse,
addiction and poverty. Unhappiness is a
psychological state which occurs when people
experience a series of life situations they do not want
to accept. Everyone wants to be happy and all people
need to be shown is how to make this possible. If
humanity is to achieve peace in the world there must
be peace within the individual. This pilot was an
opportunity to demonstrate that people can change
their minds, their hearts and their lives.
